Ruby Renee Westmoreland

Ruby Renee Westmoreland, 53, of Pass Christian, MS, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023. Born to the late Thomas and Ruby Michaels, Sr. on March 12, 1970, in Gulfport, MS. Renee enjoyed many hobbies: baking delicious desserts, playing darts, tending to her garden, being out in nature, and hunting. She had a heart of gold when it came to animal welfare; always spending time with her pups and fostering whenever she was able too. Her strong suit was certainly organization. She always stayed on top of things, from planning and hosting holiday get-togethers to keeping everyone’s daily life in order. Though she was a tough cookie and up for a good debate at any time, she always remained the life of the party. Renee was a strong and passionate woman who will be remembered for her kind heart and unwavering love for her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she touched. Ruby is preceded by loving parents, Thomas and Ruby Michaels, Sr. Left to cherish her memories are her children, Chelsia (Thomas) Riley; son, Timothy (Kayla) Riley; sisters, Jennifer Ladner and Rochelle (Toby) Holland; and brothers, Tommy (Brandi) Michaels and Leo (Aimee) Rose; grandchildren, Bailey Riley, Dakoda Riley, Beverly Riley, Emma Riley, Landen Sones, Aiden Leger, Braxton Schoniwitz, and Kinsley Jaciuk. Also left to cherish her memories are numerous nieces and nephews.
