Ronald Joe Reeves, commonly known as "Ronnie Joe" to his friends and loved ones, left this world on March 22, 2025. Born on September 16, 1956, in Lucedale, Mississippi, his journey came to a peaceful end in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, surrounded by the family he so deeply cherished. Ronnie's early years were spent in Benndale, where he was born to J.A. Reeves and Dorothy Littlefield. Ronnie's professional life was rooted in the construction field, where his hands built more than just structures; they forged lasting relationships. His hobbies reflected his social nature and keen eye, as he delighted in buying and selling various items, a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit. Known for his ability to strike up a conversation with anybody, Ronnie will be remembered for his warm heart and the ease with which he made friends. He leaves us rich in memories as Ronnie Joe was loved by many for his genuine and welcoming demeanor. He is preceded in death by his parents, J.A. Reeves and Dorothy Littlefield; sisters, Dianne Smith and Nancy Fairley. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Karen Cooper Reeves; sons, Shane (Blair) Reeves and Andy (Shannon) Reeves, both of Lucedale, MS; his in-laws Austin (Linda) Cooper, David (Shannon) Cooper, and Michelle (Nevalin) Littlefield; siblings, Agnes (Chris) Morton and Herman (Cindy) Lizana; grandchildren, Keelye (Levi), Brynna, Justyn, Hayden, Elizabeth, Shekanah, Tessa (Robby), Terika, Ethan, and River; along with 3 great-grandchildren.
