Ronald Glenn Boulware, 68 and life-long resident of Lucedale, passed away Sunday morning at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 23, 1952 at George County Hospital, the son and second of four children to Ronald L. and Dorothy (Mace) Boulware. Known as Ronnie by those who knew him best, he wasn't much on sports and such, but loved to hunt and fish. Ronnie attended George County Schools, graduating with the GCHS Class of 1970. He was no stranger to work and had been doing so since he was 13. Ronnie worked a couple of jobs here and there before going into the construction field, making a career as a boilermaker. He was introduced to Pearl Bolen in late '74 and they began dating. They were married September 11, 1976, making their home there in Lucedale for over forty years. Ronnie liked to travel and got to do some with his work, he and Pearl got to visit several states around the Southern US over the years. He is remembered as an honest, hard-working man. Ronnie was just the best...husband, father, provider for his family and more. He cared deeply for his family and worked hard to make sure they had all of what they needed and most of what they wanted. That is the kind of person Ronnie was. He didn't have a lot of hobbies outside work, but was a member of the R.P. Bowen #430 Masonic Lodge in Lucedale for many years. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded by his parents, Ronald & Dorothy Boulware, and one brother, Robert Boulware. Left to cherish his memories are: his loving wife of almost 45 years, Pearl; their children, daughters Nikki (Tony) Beasley and Ashley (Justin) Howard, all of Lucedale, and one son, Phillip Boulware of Rocky Creek; one sister, Bettye (Donnie) Reeves of Benndale and a brother, David Boulware, also of Lucedale. Ronnie leaves a legacy of five grandchildren: Chris Fear, Connor Beasley, Li-An and Ky-Li Howard, and Aiden Boulware, along with several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends through the years. His final wishes were to be cremated, which his family is honoring, and will set a memorial service for him at a later date. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Boulware family in their time of need, asking everyone to keep them in your thoughts and prayers over the coming days.
