Mr. Rocky Cecil Dedeaux

Mr. Rocky C. Dedeaux, 30 of Perkinston, passed away Monday morning at his residence following a lengthy illness. Rocky was born June 11, 1987, and is the oldest of 5. He grew up in the Silver Run community in Perkinston, and definitely was an outdoors young man. He loved to fish, and spent a great deal of his time doing that with his grandfathers, Papa Clifton and Papa Roland, both of whom was the world to Rocky. He was a spirited youngster with a sense of humor that was out of this world, and it permeated everything he did. He also enjoyed cooking and going to church. At 15, he was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, which was later determined to be a rare form of it. He had many doctors visits, and hospital stays, as he battled his illness, and always found the brightest side of them all. He will be remembered as a unique personality, a very giving person, and definitely a "one of a kind" young man. Rocky will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his mother, Sandy Coulter of Gulfport; his father, Craig Ladner of Necaise Crossing; his sister,Tamara Harden (Ty) of Gulfport; his brothers Blane Dedeaux of Perk, Daniel Coulter of Jacksonville, FL, and Kraigon Ladner of Necaise Crossing; his aunts, Beth Dedeaux of Gulfport, Tammy Agregaard (Joe) of Biloxi, Candace Roberts (Larry) of Woolmarket, Terri Cuevas (Carlos) of Necaise Crossing, Lana Strahan (Dennis) and Jan Smith (Heath), both of Poplarville; his uncles, Clifton Gerald Dedeaux (Diane) of Berry, AL, and Brian Dedeaux of Perk; grandparents, Charlene Dedeaux of Perk, and Roland & Janell Ladner of Necaise Crossing; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends. He was preceded by his grandfather, Clifton Dedeaux. The family has set graveside services for Wednesday morning at 10:00 AM at the Clifton Dedeaux Family Cemetery on Ridge Road in Perkinston. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Dedeaux family in their time of need, and asks that you keep them lifted up in prayer during this difficult time.
