Robert John Rolak

Robert John Rolak, Jr, aged 91, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2024. Born July 9, 1933, RJ lived a full life of adventure, service and laughter. RJ honorably served in three branches of the military: the Army, Airforce and Navy.  His military career took him to many places around the world, giving him a wealth of experience and stories to share. After his distinguished service, RJ worked for the city of Houston, TX. In his later years, RJ moved to the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Gulfport, MS. He continued to touch the lives of those around him with his infectious humor. Known for always having a joke to tell, RJ brought smiles and laughter to everyone he met. RJ was preceded in death by his father, Robert John Rolak, Sr; his mother, Laura Frances Cunningham Rolak; his brother, Gilbert Rolak; and many aunts and uncles. As the last of his line, RJ leaves behind a legacy of service, kindness and joy. In accordance with his last wishes, RJ will be cremated, and his ashes scattered at sea.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Armed Forces Retirement Home in honor of RJ's memory and service.
