Robert Polk

Robert Polk, age 68, passed away on February 7, 2022. Robert was born on June 10, 1955 to the late Andrew Wilkin and Bernice Polk in Prentiss, Mississippi. Robert was a kind and caring person that liked to make new friends. He was loved by his friends at his nursing home. Robert was kind of a jokester that enjoyed keeping life light a fun for the people around him. He was a Huge Mississippi State football fan that enjoyed the camaraderie of his football rival friends. Robert was a great brother, uncle, and friend to many, he will be missed dearly. Robert was preceded by his parents, Andrew and Bernice Polk; brothers, Thomas Earl Polk, Oliver Lonnie Polk, Johnny Davis, David Harce Polk, and twins Pat and Paul Polk. Robert is survived by his brother, Louis (Jeanie) Polk and sister, Carolyn (LeRoy) Young. A graveside service will be held at Polk Cemetery in Prentiss on February 14, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Trinity Funeral Services of McHenry.
