Robert Edward Luzenberg

Robert Edward Luzenberg, age 79, passed away on December 01, 2023 in Hattiesburg, MS. He was born on February 24, 1944 to the late Lawrence Edward and Bertha Edwina Luzenberg. Robert Edward Luzenberg was a man of quiet strength and genuine kindness. Serving in the Navy for four years during the Vietnam conflict, he exemplified courage and dedication to his country.  Robert was also a skilled artisan, he found joy in woodworking and art. His life was marked by a deep faith, unwavering compassion, and a love for others. Known for his warm heart and quick wit, Robert had a talent for creating relationships and forging bonds everywhere he went. He lived a life of simple joys, finding solace in prayer, praying for others, and helping anyone that crossed his path. A devoted Christian, Robert's compassion touched the lives of those around him. He held a special place in his heart for his late wife and found joy in country jamborees and traveling when he could. Robert will leave a legacy of warmth, creativity, compassion, and love. He was a wonderful, brother, uncle, and friend to many that will be missed dearly. Welcoming Robert into Heaven is his loving wife, Celda Rose Luzenberg; parents, Lawrence and Bertha Luzenberg; and one brother, James Luzenberg. Left to cherish his memory is his sister, Margaret (Mickey) Luzenberg Nichols; brother, Lawrence C. Luzenberg; sisters, Dorothy (Jordan) Taylor, and Marian Veazey. Also left to cherish his memories are numerous nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
