Mr. Robert Francis Lorenzana, Sr

Mr. Robert Francis "Bob" Lorenzana, 72 of Perkinston, MS, passed away at his residence Monday, June 6, 2016. He was born on June 14, 1943, to William and Faye (Estrada) Lorenzana, in Oxnard, CA. After high school, Bob enlisted in the US Air Force, and spent most of his working life as a Quality Control Inspector in the fabrication industry. He was a member of the J.L. Power Lodge #416 in Perkinston, where he served as past Master. He was also a member of the Scottish Rite, and the Shriners. Bob will be remembered as a hard working man who enjoyed fishing, auctions, and collecting antiques. He is survived by his wife, Ellen; his children: one daughter, Faye Abercrombie of McHenry, and 3 sons, Robert F. "Bobby" Lorenzana, Jr., of Gulfport, USAF Capt. David G. Leonard (Brandy) of Navarre, FL, and Todd Lorenzana (Stephanie) of Perkinston; and one sister, Nancy Segovia of Oxnard, CA; along with 8 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Faye Lorenzana; and 3 brothers, Tom Lorenzana, Bill Lorenzana, and Ray Lorenzana, and 2 sisters, Mary Louise Lorenzana, and Helen Lorenzana. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at Trinity Funeral Services in McHenry. The family will receive friends and guests beginning at 3:30 PM, followed by a chapel service at 5 PM. Bob will be interred at Biloxi National Cemetery on Thursday, June 9th, at 10 AM.
