Mr. Robert Brown Johnson

Mr. Robert Brown Johnson, 59 of Moss Point, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 6 at Ocean Springs Hospital following a lengthy illness. Robert was born January 6, 1959 in Pascagoula, the son of Albert & Celeste (Elkins) Johnson, and grew up in the area. He graduated from Pascagoula High School, and eventually settled into the security field as a career. Robert owned R & J Security, and also worked at Ingall's for many years. He was an avid NASCAR and Saints fan, and a long-time member of the Krewe of Niord, serving as king along the way. He is remembered as a loving father who cared for his kids. His daughter recalls that she wasn't aware that she was not an actual princess until she was 7. He was an adventurous and outgoing man who loved to travel, and will be sadly missed by all whose life he touched. Robert was preceded by his parents, Albert & Celeste; his son, James Clark; and his siblings: sisters Helen and Shirley, and his brother, Darrel. Left to cherish his memories are his children: a daughter, Ashlie Johnson of Biloxi, and sons Chad (Joni) Medlock of Moss Point, and Hunter Johnson of Biloxi. He leaves eight grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and many friends. His wishes were to be cremated, which his family is honoring.
