Robert Lee Foster, Jr., 48 of Saucier, departed this life Saturday, June 6, 2020. Robert was born April 26, 1972 in Marathon, Florida, one of two children to Robert L. Foster, Sr. and Patricia Ann (Culmer) Wilson. He grew up in Marathom where he came to love hunting and fishing, not necessarily in that order. Known to most as "Bud", he attended school there and in Port St. Joe. He was a "happy-go-lucky" type guy, one that never met a stranger. Bud had a friendly demeanor about him that caused most anyone that met him to like him. He went to work as a sales associate for Walmart, where his people skills and magnetic personality served him well. He was definitely a family oriented man and when he wasn't spending time with them or working, Bud was either in the woods hunting or on the water fishing. He is remembered as the best son, brother, uncle and friend that anyone could ask for, and will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew him. Bud was preceded by his maternal grandparents, Samuel E. & Susie T. Culmer, with two aunts, one uncle and countless numbers of fish he caught and deer he bagged over the years. Left to cherish his memories are: his mother and step-father, Patsy (Ray) Wilson of Davenport, FL; his sister Candy (Steve), also of FL; two step-children, Scott Johnson of Long Beach and Cynthia Johnson (Brandon Wigley) of Saucier, with his step-grands Kylee & Brock Johnson; his nieces and nephews: Nathan, Serena, Zoey and Shelby; and his fiancé Jackie Marlowe. Bud will no doubt be treasured beyond words and missed beyond measure. His wishes were to be cremated, which his family is honoring. A memorial graveside service will be set soon. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Foster family in their time of need, asking everyone to keep the family lifted up in your thoughts and prayers through this difficult time.
