Robert Edward Lee, age 76, known mostly as “Buck” of Poplarville MS was born on July 22, 1946, to Tommy Lee and Annie Rose Lee (Beech). Buck passed away in Maxie MS on December 25, 2022, peacefully at his home. He was the seventh child of nine children. In his early years he worked at Movie Star and spent 19 years at Wiggins Diesel, he also served as a deacon at Hickory Grove Baptist Church. Buck loved the outdoors and loved bird hunting, rabbit hunting, deer hunting, and fishing. You could always find him in the woods or working in the yard cutting bushes or tinkering on his lawn mower. He was known for being a caring person and helping anyone as much as he could. Buck and his wife Patricia Ann Lee had two children: James Edward Lee, and Barbara Ann Slade. Buck was bigger than life and more like a father than an uncle to his nieces and nephews. He loved all seven of his grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Buck will be missed dearly by his family and friends. Left to cherish his memories are his children James Edward (Lisa) Lee, Barbara Ann (David) Slade, his siblings Melton Lee, TJ Lee, Bill (Linda) Foster, Madlynn Lee, Debbie (Herbert) Smith, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and his care giver of 6 years Mary Tatum. He is preceded by his parents Tommy Lee and Annie Rose Lee (Beech), wife Patricia Ann Lee, siblings Jimmy Lee, Frances Hyatt, and Sue Davis.
