Mr. Robert Maurice Breland

Robert Maurice Breland, 88 of Perkinston, passed away at his home on May 17, 2018. Robert was born on August 12, 1929 in Steep Hollow, MS. He served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1947 to 1950, and after his discharge, worked in construction for 45 years. He is preceded by his parents, Thomas E. and Mae Breland of Wiggins, and siblings Palmer Ramsey, Nora Pertuit, Flora Delaney, Donald Breland, William Breland, Archie Breland, and Virgie Parker; along with one daughter, Verna Overstreet of McHenry, MS. Robert is survived by one brother, Carl Breland of Wiggins; son, Robert Breland of Perkinston, MS, and daughters Karen (Al) Breland of Janice, MS, and Emily Breland Brannon of Cincinnati, OH; 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and many neighbors and friends. A private graveside service will be held for the family.
