Mr. Robert Warren "Bob" Marble

Mr. Robert Warren "Bob" Marble, 68 of the Derby community, passed away Saturday, July 9th at Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg. Bob was born in Omaha, NE, and after graduating high school and college, served his country in the United States Air Force. Following the USAF, he also served in the MS Army National Guard. Later, he became a campus police officer at Pearl River Community College, where he retired in 2010. Bob loved working out in his shop, and enjoyed collecting knives and guns. He will be remembered as having a very jovial personality, and was quite a joker, but he was an absolute man of his word. Bob was a Christian, and member of Word Alive Revival Center in Wiggins. He will be sadly missed by his wife Peggy, and all those that knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Ruth (Howard), his children, sons Gerald Ray Campbell (Annette) of Steep Hollow, William Curtis Campbell (Cathy) of Poplarville, Roy Franklin Campbell (fiance Christina Cook) of Decatur, AL, and Jeffery Campbell of Poplarville; his twin sister, Barbara Gryder of Mobile, AL, and 2 brothers, Joey Poole of Poplarville, and Mike Poole (Janice) of TN, 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard B. and Myriam Jane Marble, and his step-father, Horace Poole. Arrangements are set for Monday, July 11, 2016, at First United Pentecostal Church on Main Street in Poplarville, MS. The family will receive friends and guests beginning at 10am, with the funeral service scheduled for 1pm in the church sanctuary. Interment will follow at the Marble Family Cemetery, located at 363 E.T. Poole Road. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Marble family in their time of need.
