He passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025, in Perkinston, Mississippi, surrounded by his loved ones. Robert's vibrant spirit and larger-than-life personality left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him.

Known locally as "The Peanut Man", he grew up in New Orleans, where he became a well-known leader of a chapter of the Hell's Angels biker club. He was a self-taught man, who worked tirelessly throughout his life, embodying the essence of a classic southern gentleman. While he was wild and carefree at heart, Robert also had a caring and endearing nature that drew people to him. He carved out a life full of adventure, while always being the dependable rock for his family.

Robert’s passion for the outdoors shone through in many aspects of his life. He cherished camping trips with his family, where holidays and birthdays were marked by laughter and love, often shared in the woods. Making homemade fireworks and moonshine, the family forged countless memories that will carry on in their hearts. He was an enthusiast of motorcycles, hunting, and fishing, spending countless hours on the road in his trucks, embracing the freedom and joy that came from being outside.

A proud father and grandfather, Robert took immense pride in the family he built. His greatest accomplishments were his children and grandchildren, whom he loved fiercely. Shelly Novak and her husband Sean, Robert Blackwell and his wife Felicia, Chassity Blackwell and her husband Donnie, along with Patricia Cefolia, his sister, and his cherished grandchildren: Sean Blackwell, Amber Finley with Clinton, Hayley Blackwell, Brittany Nall with Nat, Sierra Novak, Tori Woodward with Ryan, Ribbit Blackwell with Yazzie, Jordan Blackwell, Klarisa Blackwell, Donnie Bryant Jr., and Conner Bryant have all been shaped by his influence and love. Robert’s legacy lives on through the many memories he created with them, overcoming every obstacle life threw in his path.
