Richard Alan Wall

Ricard Alan Wall better known as “Phatz”, 58, passed away on September 09, 2025 in Gulfport, MS. He was born in Metairie, LA on November 24, 1966 to the late Larry Wall and Lois Cuevas Wall.

Richard Wall lived his life with laughter, love, and a light heart. A natural jokester who loved to dance, play pranks, and make people smile, he never met a stranger and could turn anyone into a friend. Fun-loving and full of energy, he was happiest surrounded by family and friends, bringing people together with his humor, kindness, and cooking.

Richard loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, which became a lifelong passion. November was always reserved for deer season, and his blue tick hunting dogs were his pride. He also loved to travel for work, seeing much of the country, but his heart was always at home with his family. He adored his grandchildren—who were truly the center of his world—and was a role model, a devoted father, and a loving husband.

Whether cooking for family gatherings, enjoying Popeyes chicken, or sharing a laugh, Richard made life brighter for everyone around him. He was a man who loved deeply, lived fully, and left lasting memories of joy and laughter.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Lois and Larry Wall; his brother, Andy Wall; his sister, Charlotte Wall; and his son, Calvin Hoda.

He is survived by his loving wife, Hilary Wall; his children, Richie (Sarah) Wall, Keith Wall, Kevin (Sarah Beth) Wall, and Kali Wall; grandchildren, Ryder, Skyler, Rydge, Falyn, Nate, Braxton, and Chelsey; three great-grandchildren; and siblings, Larry (Debbie) Wall Jr., Linda Rizzo, Connie (Jerry) Grass, Tony, and Melissa.
