Richard Edward Stog

August 25, 1968 — August 9, 2021

Saucier, MS

Richard Edward Stog, 52 of Saucier, passed away August 9, 2021 at Singing River Hospital in Gulfport. He was born August 25, 1968 in Metairie, LA, the third of six children to William and Julie (David) Stog. Richard was a member of Campground Baptist Church in Lizana, MS. In 2015 he moved to the Lizana community where he met Jamie, his beautiful bride. They met at a friends house one night and it was love at first sight.  From that day forward they were inseparable, marrying in 2017. Richard was the type who never met a stranger.  He was always happy and full of life, bringing laughter and joy wherever he went.  Richard loved to watch wrestling, the Undertaker being his favorite! He loved anything that involved the great outdoors, especially fishing, as well as being involved in whatever it was his nieces and nephews were doing.  There was not a time you would find Richard without his black cowboy hat, "it was his go to for everything".  Richard loved his family with his whole heart and the ones he leaves behind will miss him immensely!  He is preceded in death by his father William Edward Stog and his brother Christopher David.  Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Jamie (Ainsworth) Stog; his mother Julie (David) Stog; his brothers Reed Stog of Saucier, Earnest and John Stog, both of LA,  and his sister Christy David of LA. Richard leaves a host of nieces and nephews whom he adored, as well as numerous extended family and friends.  Richards final wishes were to be cremated which his family has honored.  "Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in Me. My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." John 14:1-3 NIV.  A memorial service may be held at a later date. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Stog family during this difficult time and asks that you join us in keeping the Stog family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
