Mr. Richard James Ayers

Mr. Richard James Ayers, 62 of Perkinston, passed away at his residence last week of natural causes. Mr. Ayers was an outdoors person who enjoyed fishing, family gatherings, and working outdoors. He is survived by his mother, Ms. Carolyn Jones Ayers of Poplarville; 2 sons, Jeffery and Patrrick Reeves, both of Long Beach; 3 sisters, Carolyn Ann Hobbs-Ayers of Saucier, Pam Phillips (Charlie) of Gulfport, and Kim Osbon (Charles) of Greenville, TN, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, James Ervin Ayers, and a brother, William Peyton Ayers. Trinity Funeral Services in McHenry is assisting the Ayers family, and has scheduled services to be held on Thursday, May 19th. Friends are welcome to come at 9:30 AM, with funeral services at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Wiggins City Cemetery.
