Reta Pearl Grady

Reta Pearl Grady, age 74, passed away on November 26, 2024. She was born on July 03, 1950 in Wiggins, Mississippi to the late Red Griffin and Margie Moore.

Reta Grady, a cherished soul whose warmth and kindness touched everyone she met. Her life was a beautiful tapestry of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will forever be etched in the hearts of all who knew her. Reta was a woman of many passions, and at the center of it all was her love for people. Whether she was cooking up a feast for her family during the holidays, chatting with friends old and new, or spending precious time with her beloved husband and grandchildren, Reta’s joy in life was undeniable. Her kitchen was her haven, where meals were made with love and served with a generous heart. Reta had a deep appreciation for music, especially Smokey Robinson and the timeless tunes of Motown, which brought her so much happiness. She found relaxation in crossword puzzles, sewing, gardening, and feeding her cherished hummingbirds. She also enjoyed the peace of the outdoors, whether fishing or simply taking in the beauty of nature. To know Reta was to love her. She had an innate ability to make friends wherever she went, and her kind spirit earned her respect and admiration from everyone she met. Her laughter, love for life, and caring nature left an indelible mark on all who crossed her path. Reta’s legacy will live on through her family, who will always remember her as a devoted wife, a loving mother, a proud grandmother, and a loyal friend.

Reta is preceded by her parents, Red Griffin and Margie Moore. Left to cherish her memories is her loving husband of 54 years, Frank Grady Jr.; children, Christopher (Patricia) Grady and Victoria (McKinley) Grady; mother-in-law, Lillie Mae Grady, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
