Mr. Raymond Lee Rowell

Raymond Lee Rowell, 44 of Vicksburg, passed away this morning at Merit Health River Region Hospital. Raymond was born May 21, 1973 in Mobile, AL, one of four and the only son of Grover & Nancy Rowell. He grew up in the Citronell area, and loved the outdoors, especially fishing. After school, Raymond made a career in construction, and eventually opened his own company. He was an avid War Eagle fan, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded by his parents, Grover and Nancy Rowell; his three sisters, Theresa Lynn Lewis, Tammy Williams, and Lewanda Gail Rowell. He is survived by his wife, Sharron Parker, his children, son Zachary Boyington, and daughter Tori Rowell; nephews Keith (Shannon) Williams, and Christopher Rowell; nieces Nancy (Bruce) Rushing, Teresa (Jason) Covington, and Katherine (James) Watson; and his fur bearing kids, Sasha and Tootega, his "Little Brother", Jason Covington, and many other friends and extended family. Raymond's wishes were to be cremated, which his family is following. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
