Raylee Scott Burnham

Ms. Raylee Scott Burnham, an angel sent down from heaven, gained her wings Thursday, November 17th at her earthly home in Vancleave. She was born August 03, 2017 in Mobile, AL., the daughter of C. J. and Brooke (McCrory) Burnham. Raylee was a special baby that touched many, many lives in her short time with us. She was indeed a true angel and a blessing to our family. It is hard to put into words the uniqueness of our family - Raylee was simply a joy in everyone's life. Although her physical limitations hampered her ability to verbally communicate, she made it known from the beginning how she felt. From her tantrums when Brooke took her to physical therapy or a doctor's visit, to the animal sounds her and CJ made back and forth with each other, and the cuddles with her siblings, Raylee definitely communicated with us. Watching television shows, football games, music, and car rides were among her favorite things to do. Raylee was adored and cared for by each member of our family. While she will be missed beyond measure, we are all comforted by our knowledge of where she is today, and that we will see her in eternity. She was preceded by her loving mother, Brooke; her great-grandfathers Jimmie McCrory and Felton George, with two great uncles, Scott and Jay McCrory. Left to cherish her memories are: her loving daddy, C.J. burnham; her two big sisters, Jazmyne and Emma, and her big brother, Cade; grandparents Jimmy & Kristy McCrory and Jennifer & David Cox; greatgrandparents Juandena Lett, Max (Cotton) Moody, Jessie (Otis) McMillan, and uncles Mason McCrory, Brandon Burnham, Cody Cox and David Cox, Jr., along with countless extended family, friends, caregivers and so many more whose life she touched. Services will be held Saturday, November 19th, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM in the sanctuary of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Raylee's funeral service will begin at noon, with interment to follow beside her mother in the church cemetery.
