Ray-Dean (Hoenig) Nations

Ray-Dean Jo Nations, 49, native to Kiln, MS for the last 25 years, passed away August 10, 2020. She was born November 15, 1970 in Olney, IL to Ray and Kay Durbin. Dean grew up in Taylorville, IL going campin’, creekin’, 3-wheelin’, dirt bikin’, & mororcyclin’. Dean became skilled in many traits such as grillin’, making beautiful flower arrangements and enjoyed a chance to work on her truck or bike. Dean was well known for her homemade noodles. They were wildly requested for many family gatherings. Dean was also known as the LOUD & loving Momma or Aunt that everyone could count on. She was preceded in death by her son, William T. Arthur. Left to cherish her memories and continue her traditions are her parents, Ray and Kay Durbin; her daughter, Stormie (Shawn) Hackler; sons, Harley Arthur, Shadow Arthur and Echo Arthur; grandson, Lakota Hackler; siblings, Kalene (Neal) Delahunt, Christina (Timmy “Bubby”) Myers, Vance (Tyler) Hoenig, Tabitha Burley, and Mavrick (Denise) Durbin; boyfriend, Chad Engel. Dean also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews along with many extended family and friends through the years. Her final wishes were to be cremated, which her family is honoring. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Trinity Funeral Services, McHenry.
