Randy Lavell Polson

Randy Lavell Polson, 54 of Lucedale, passed away at his home Wednesday, August 4, 2021. Randy was born November 17, 1966 in Lucedale, the son of Tommy Davell and Mary Evelyn (Easley) Polson and grew up in Lucedale. He graduated from George County High School with the Class of 1985. He made a career as a heavy equipment operator for over 30 years with the Carr family of Lucedale. Randy loved to hunt, fish, crack jokes, spend time with his family and friends, including his Waffle House family most every morning. He will no doubt be sadly missed by all whose life he touched. Randy was proceeded by his parents, Tommy and Mary Polson, his sister, Darlene Polson and a brother in law, Albert Lamb Jr. Left to cherish his memories are: his sister, Marlene Lamb of Ocean Springs, MS; nieces: Angela Lamb Valladarez, Crystal (Alex) Zapata and Linda (Joey) Heflin, along with numerous great nieces and great nephews: Kaitlyn (Dennis Ryan, Jr.) Valladarez, Brooklynn Castillo, Trey Ladnier, Garrett Ladnier, James Baxter, Sarah Baxter, Braxton Zapata, Grace Ryan, George Ryan, Austin Beauvais and Kevin Franklin, with two great-great nephews, Tyler Ladner Jr. and Jameson Baxter, along with the many friends, co-workers and others who knew him. Randy's final wishes were to be cremated, which his family is honoring. A celebration of Randy's life will be held Sunday, August 8th, beginning at 2:00 PM, at the Agricola Storm Shelter building on Cooks Corner Road. Everyone who knew and loved Randy are encouraged to come. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Polson family in their time of need, asking everyone to keep them in your thoughts and prayers through this difficult time.
