Mr. Randall Dale Vetter

Randy Vetter, 46 of Brandon, MS, passed away unexpectedly in Perkinston on Thursday, May 18th. Randy was born Aug. 27, 1970 at Shaw AFB in Sumpter, SC, the oldest of 4 children to Robert and Deborah Vetter. He would grow up in various cities around the country, as his father served 22 years in the USAF. He enjoyed fishing, spending a lot of time on Back Bay, and also computers and online gaming. Randy graduated from Biloxi High School, a member of the Class of 1988, and joined the US Air Force. After his military service, he turned a hobby into a career, working as a computer analyst. He met his wife in 1998, and they were married in 2003, making their home in Brandon, MS for the past 15 years. Randy was a person that could always enlist a smile from most anyone. He will be remembered as a gentle spirit, a kind, thoughtful, and generous person, a loving husband and father. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife, Amy; their only child, Nicholas; his siblings, a sister, Angela Hermes (John) of McHenry; two brothers, Robert Jr. (Gina) and Donald Vetter, both of Perkinston, his father, Robert Vetter, Sr., nieces Aliza and Ava Vetter, and Lillian Hermes, with nephews John Hermes and Trey Vetter, and a host of friends. He was preceded by his mother, Deborah Vetter. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, May 22nd 5:00 until 6:00 PM, followed by a chapel service, at Trinity Funeral Services, 319 Hwy. 49 S., McHenry, MS 39561.
