McHenry

Ralph Louis Pace, 57, passed away on March 28, 2022 at his home in McHenry, MS. He was born on December 22, 1964 in Waukeegan, IL, the fifth of six children to Ruben Bennett and Virginia Lou (Odom) Pace. He grew up on the small family farm in Splunge community of rural Mississippi, where he enjoyed the country life. Fishing, hunting, and anything outdoors was his thing. Louis was good with his hands and could do most anything. He went into construction with his brothers, and they did it all. From pouring the slab to putting on the roof, and everything in between, there wasn't much he couldn't do. He is remembered as a very opinionated guy, especially if he believed he was right. His arguing skills were second to none. Louis chose to live a simple life, and didn't require a lot of stuff. He enjoyed his growing vegetable gardens and even rolled his own cigarettes, just to save money. Louis still hunted and fished when he could, and loved to cook. Later in life, he stopped eating fried meats and focused on trying to eat healthier. A self-determined man that loved his family dearly, he will surely be missed by all whose life he touched. Louis was preceded by his parents, Ruben and Virginia Pace, and one sister, Mary Crum. Left to cherish his memories are: his children, one daughter Jayna Terry of TN, and his son Matt (Ashley) Terry of Auburn, AL.; his siblings, sisters Nita Reaume of Gulfport and Lora (Chris) Aldridge of Winfield, AL, with brothers Billy (Lori) Pace and J.R. (Pat) Pace, both of Fulton, MS, and his brother-in-law who he was close to, Kenny Reaume (Londa Avin) of McHenry. He leaves a legacy of two grandchildren, Bobby Jace Coggins and Waylon Terry, along with many extended family and friends. Louis' final wishes were to be cremated, which his family is honoring, with a memorial service to be held at a later date. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Pace family in their time of need, and asks everyone to keep them in your thoughts and prayers through this trying time.
