Mr. Peter Charles Haggerty

Mr. Peter Charles Haggerty of Petal passed away after a long battle with cancer. Peter was a retired heavy equipment mechanic, beloved brother and uncle. He took great pride in his nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews, who brought him much happiness. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he spent most of his life in South Florida, before retiring to Petal, MS. Pete enjoyed traveling, was a trained light aircraft pilot, and spent most of his free time riding motorcycles, customizing his home, and attending school and sport activities with his great niece and nephews. Pete proudly served in the US Army, and was a Vietnam veteran. He will be fondly remembered, and sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Paul and Jerry. He is survived by his brother David and his wife Colette; sister Terry Gregor and her husband Jim; as well as his previous spouse, Kandi Haggerty; good friend Debby Byrd; two nieces, three nephews, and several great nieces and nephews. No memorial service is planned. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Haggerty family in their time of need, and asks that you keep them in your prayers over the coming days.
