Penny Marie Peterson

Penny Marie Peterson, 58, passed away on August 14, 2022 at Gulfport Memorial Hospital. Penny was born on September 01, 1963 in Gulfport, MS to parents Wesley Roland Ford and Eldora Mae Malley. Born and raised in Gulfport, Penny worked as a Caretaker. She enjoyed spending time with her son whilst fishing or shooting pool. She had a mother’s love for children and spent as much time as she could babysitting them. Penny frequently held game nights in her apartment amongst friends. Even going as far as hosting Bingo with prizes! Penny was partial to the Saints and the Cowboys, and her favorite Nascar driver, Kacey Kahn. Penny was known to love her dogs Izzy and Sassi Saige. She will be greatly missed by all who know and love her. Penny is preceded in death by her parents, Wesley Ford and Eldora Mae Malley; daughter, Staci Cheyanne King; brothers, Ricky Ford, and Ervin Cuevas, and her fur baby, Sassi Saige. Penny is survived by her loving sons, David (Crystal Cornelson) Saige of Gulfport and Larry (Ashleigh cook) Scott; sister, Louise Beasley; brothers, Roger (Sandra) Ford, Ronnie (Shiela) Ford, Robert (Kristy) Ford, Roland (Debra) Ford; grandchildren, Keagan Saige, Asia Saige, Ava Saige, and Charlie Scott. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and her fur baby, Izzy Saige.
