Ms. Pearlie Ruth Anderson, 63 of Port Gibson, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday in Vicksburg. She was born December 29, 1955 in Port Gibson, the baby of four children to Charlie & Iva Mae Tillman. From an early age, she was spoiled rotten by her sisters Lena & Gloria. She had a wonderful sense of humor and quickly found her place as the family clown. After high school, she attended Alcorn State University, and raised her five boys in Port Gibson as well. Pearlie was a lady who would do anything for anybody, especially her nieces. She was always of good cheer, and definitely wasn't afraid to tell it like it is. She attended the Port Gibson Church of God in Christ, and will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded by her parents, Charlie & Iva Mae Tillman, her brother, Charlie Tillman, Jr., her son, Christopher Anderson, and her niece, Lena Moore. Left to cherish her memories are: her sons, Derrick, Linonal, J.B., and Isiah Anderson; her sisters, Lena Moore and Gloria Harrell; several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and other extended family and friends. A celebration of her life will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Church of God of Christ in Port Gibson. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Anderson family in this trying time, and asks that everyone please keep them in their thoughts and prayers.
