Ms. Norma Jean Donald

Ms. Norma Jean Donald, 52 of Gulfport, passed away on Friday, August 25th, 2017 at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport. Norma was one of 8 children, born November 23, 1964 in Gulfport to Hubert and Leila Donald. She had a loving soul, and a giving heart. Norma loved her family above all else, and cherished family gatherings, especially those out on the Wolf River. She so enjoyed sitting around a fire with her family and kids all around. For herself, she enjoyed vintage country music and dancing. One of her favorite spots was the VFW, where she could dance to the music of Conway Twitty, Loretta Lynn, and others. Norma did accept Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, and is resting comfortably with Him today. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten. She is survived by her two daughters, Angela Donald and Crystal (Ernest) Phillips; her siblings, brothers Charles Wayne Donald, Danny Gene (Virginia) Donald, Kenny Ray (Missy) Donald, and Joey Eley, all of Gulfport, and sisters, Theresa (Tommy) Doherty of Phenix City, AL, Peggy (John) Ravoira of McHenry, and Mary Malone of Gulfport; her former husband, and father of her children, Gene White of Gulfport; 4 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Norma wished to be cremated, which her family is honoring, and will set a memorial service for her at a later date. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to assist the Donald family.
