Nona Saxton Lindberg, a beacon of love, warmth, and gentility, passed away peacefully July 25, 2023, in Perkinston, Mississippi. She was born August 19, 1956, in Omaha, Nebraska, and became known for her friendly disposition and gentle spirit. She had a knack for making people feel comfortable and loved. Nona's gentle nature and loving heart will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a mother to Heather (Lindberg) Ellzey and a loving mother-in-law to Ryan Ellzey. But the joy of her life was her granddaughter, Ryland Ellzey, who was the recipient of her endless love and affection. Nona also shared a special bond with her niece, Christy (Saxton) Anderson, and her nephew, Matt Saxton, as well as her many great-nieces and nephews. In her later years, Nona relocated to Perkinston, Mississippi. Those who knew Nona will remember her for her kindness, her gentle spirit, and the love she had for her family and friends. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched during her lifetime. In conclusion, Nona Saxton Lindberg's memory will forever be cherished by her family, friends, and all who had the honor of knowing her. As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate a life well-lived, a life that touched many, and a life that exemplified the virtues of love, gentleness, and friendliness. Nona, you will be profoundly missed, but your spirit will continue. Nona's final wishes were to be cremated, which her family is honoring.
