Nolan Ryan Wallace

August 10, 1991 — March 21, 2022

Gulfport, MS

Nolan Ryan Wallace, 30, passed away on March 21, 2022 at his home in Gulfport. He was born on August 10, 1991 in Gulfport, the second of four children to David Harold and Tammie Lynn (Breece) Wallace. Nolan grew up in Gulfport for the most part, with some time in Texas. He was the outdoors type, enjoying horseback riding, four wheelers, and more. An athletic young man as well, he enjoyed playing baseball and football. Football became his favorite and Nolan found his spot as a defensive end. He was on the varsity football team at St. Patrick High School, and went on to play semi-pro for the Mobile Generals. He worked as a cook at Anthony's Bar & Grill in Orange Grove for a couple of years, before going into the construction field as a carpenter. Nolan leaves this life far too soon, and is fondly remembered as a father with a heart of gold. He loved his family and kids, and spent as much time as possible with them. In his spare time, Nolan enjoyed fishing and cooking. He had a giving approach to life, and was usually the first one to volunteer or help out when he saw a need. A die-hard Dallas Cowboy fan, Nolan enjoyed travelling. His favorite place to visit was Tennessee, but also to Texas to visit family and friends. But he also enjoyed just driving along the beach with his kids and family, listening to music as they enjoyed the scenery. His sense of humor was larger than life and he could make most anybody laugh. That seemed to be his mission in life, to bring laughter wherever he could. A loving, caring son, brother, husband, and father, Nolan will be sadly missed by all whose life he touched. He was preceded by his daughter, McKinley Wallace, his grandmother JoAnn Wagner and his grandfather, Gene Jackson. Left to cherish his memories are: his loving wife of five years, Christie; four sons Abel, Brennan, and twins Bentley and Braxten Wallace, all of Gulfport; parents, David and Tammie Wallace of Saucier; two brothers, Matthew (Erica) Wallace of Wiggins and Tanner Wallace, also of Saucier, and his sister Ally (Kenny) Macklin of FL; maternal grandparents, Abe (Beverly) Breece of Gulfport; with uncles, Richard (Diana) Breece of Saucier and Robert Breece, with aunts Debbie (Robert) Mitchell of Grand Prarie, TX, and Tonya (Allen) Nelson, also of TX; and his nieces and nephews: Bailey, Easton, Ryder, and Aiden, all of Wiggins. Nolan also leaves numerous extended family and many friends. Services will be held Friday morning, march 25th at Trinity Funeral Services in McHenry. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by a chapel service at 11:00, with Pastor Jordan Ductoe officiating. Afterward, Nolan will be laid to rest beside his daughter at Floral Hills memorial Gardens in Gulfport. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Wallace family in their time of need and asks everyone to keep them in your prayers, both now and in the days ahead.
