Nickie Fredricks Simmons, Jr.

Nickie Fredricks Simmons, Jr., 47, of D’Iberville passed away on March 6, 2020. Nickie was born April 22, 1972 to Nickie Simmons, Sr. and Irene (Harris) Simmons in Biloxi, MS. He is preceded in death by his mother, Irene (Harris) Whitehead and brother Kyle Ladner. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his father Nickie Simmons, Sr.; bonus-mom, Bernadine Simmons; children, Kala Simmons, Nickie Simmons III, Troy Beckham and Diamond Beckham; bonus-children, Ashley Cortez, Sheila Causin and Joseph Causin; sisters, Christi Simmons, Nicole (Kevin) Beckham, Tori (James) Berggren; brother, Wesley (Bridget) Ladner along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Nickie was definitely one of a kind. His smile was contagious, and his personality could light up a room. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, doing magic tricks and fishing. Nickie was kind and loving to all who knew him and was quick to lend a hand. This handsome, bright and caring son, brother, father and friend was taken from all of us, too soon. Nickie’s final act was to give the gift life to others through organ donation.
