Milton Lewis Magee

Milton Lewis Magee, 71, of Beaumont, MS., entered his eternal rest, on October 04, 2024, surrounded by his family, at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, MS. Milton was born on July 08, 1953, in Collins, MS to his parents Rome and Earlene (McGill) Magee, Sr. Peanut or M.L., as Milton was lovingly known for most of his life, was the type that if you had the honor of knowing him, then you loved him. Milton went to work at the ripe age of 16, becoming a logger in the woods of Mississippi for over fifty years. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing every chance he got. Milton could fill a room with laughter, and those who laughed with him and sometimes at him, will miss him immensely as they try to fill the void he leaves in their hearts. Milton is preceded in death by his parents, Rome and Earlene Magee, Sr.; three brothers, Jimmy Lee Magee, Robert Lee Magee, and Rome Magee, Jr; three sisters, Evelyn Kennedy, Shirlene Hamilton, and Emmajean Scott; two children, Gabriel Breland and Monica Scott. Left to cherish Milton's memory, his four daughters, LaTonya (Jeffery) Wilkerson of Petal, MS, Jacqueline (Michael) Wilson of Wiggins, MS, Melody Magee of Hattiesburg, MS, and Felicia Magee of Hattiesburg, MS; his three sons, Milton Breland of Dallas, TX; Antonio Breland of Fort Stockton, TX, and David Breland of Brooklyn, MS; his two God children, Damien (Ashley) Brown and Casey Steele both of Beaumont, MS; and his three sisters, Margrite Magee, Laura Magee, and Brenda Steele. Milton leaves a legacy of seventeen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Services for Milton will be held Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Trinity Funeral Services in McHenry beginning at 2:00 pm for his Funeral Service with light refreshments and visitation to follow directly after until 4:00 pm. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Magee family during this time and would ask that you remember them all in your thoughts and prayers over the coming days ahead.
