Michelle Lee Hines

Michelle Lee Hines, age 52, passed away on June 15, 2025 in Picayune, MS. She was born in Louisiana on March 18, 1973 to the late Judith Strahan Hines and Arthur Douglas Hines.

Michelle Lee Hines was a bright light—full of joy, laughter, and love. Outgoing and always smiling, she had a kind soul that drew people in and made them feel welcome. She loved her kids with all her heart and truly valued the time they spent together. Being a mom was her greatest joy, and she never took a single moment for granted.

Michelle had a gift for finding happiness in life’s simple pleasures. Whether it was cooking a favorite meal, listening to music, going for a swim, or watching movies with her children, especially scary ones. She made everyday moments feel special. She loved to laugh, to joke around, and to enjoy the present. From bowling nights to quiet evenings with her kids, she created memories that will last a lifetime.

She was a hard worker, a lover of the outdoors, and someone who never stopped appreciating the little things. Michelle lived with an open heart, always making time for what mattered most—family, love, and shared joy. Her warmth, energy, and beautiful spirit will never be forgotten.

Michelle is preceded by her loving Parents, Arthur Douglas and Judith Elaine Hines. She is survived by her loving children, Leyton (Kellie) Jolly, Jacee (Hunter) Sistrunk, and Cameron Hodge. Also left to cherish her memories are her two brothers, Jeffrey and Jeremey Hines, and four grandchildren.
