Michele Ann Ladner, 51 of Picayune, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family May 23rd. She was born in New Orleans, LA to Wilfred Jr and Joan Nunez on October 30, 1969. Michele is preceded in death by her parents. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her devoted husband, Chad Ladner; her daughter and son in law, Makayla and Reed Verdin; her son, Devin Brousse; her siblings, Wilfred A. Nunez, Nina (Mark) Nunez and Terri (RJ) Brousse; granddaughter, Alannah; her labradoodle, Zeke along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Michele was the youngest and was spoiled rotten! She loved to love on people and share the love of God with them. Even through breast cancer, she never let the sickness define her. Michele knew that God had her. She was a fighter to the end, always praising God and giving Him all the glory. She enjoyed gardening but her true passion and God given talent was helping others. She was an RN for over 23 years, working at Southern Surgical and Slidell Memorial. While Michele’s family mourns her passing, they take comfort in knowing that they will see Michele again one day. A visitation will be held Thursday, May 27th at Resurrection Life beginning at 10 am. Funeral services will be officiated at noon by Bro. Alan Hickman with interment to follow at Rotten Bayou Cemetery. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to assist the family and asks that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
