Mr. Michael Lee Wilson, 67 of the Carnes community, passed away Tuesday afternoon surrounded by loved ones at his home. Michael was born May 4, 1952 in Ontario, CA, the only child of John D. & Evelyn Frances (Dewery) Wilson. He grew up with a fast wit about him, to go along with a great sense of humor, both of which he kept through life. Although born on the West coast, the family came to South MS a few years ago, and made their home here. Mike loved his family and was a very kind hearted husband and father, however being an only child, he could often be as stubborn as the day is long. He loved to fish, and his favorite meal was country fried steak. He will be fondly remembered, and sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Michael was preceded by his parents, John & Evelyn Wilson. Left to cherish his memories are: his loving wife, Vicki; their three sons, Shane (Kim) Wilson, Michael (Yvonne) Wilson, and Doc Wilson, with their daughter, Missy Butler. He leaves numerous grandchildren, and had one great-grandchild coming, with many friends, neighbors, and friends through the years. His final wishes were to be cremated, which his family is honoring. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Wilson family in their time of need, and asks that everyone keep them in their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
