Michael Wallace, Sr., age 80, of Carriere, Mississippi, passed away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. Born on July 3, 1946, in Alabama, Michael later moved to Pearl River, Louisiana, and eventually made his home in Carriere, Mississippi.

Michael is survived by his two sons, Phillip Wallace and Michael Wallace, Jr.; his six brothers, Douglas Wallace, Charles Wallace, James Wallace, David Wallace, Paul Wallace, and Danny Decareaux; and his sister, Shawn Decareaux. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will greatly miss him.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Ella Wallace; his father, Charles Wallace; his mother, Evelyn Lucas Decareaux; his brother, Jerry Wallace; and his sisters, Brenda Wilkes and Cheryl Wallace.
