Michael Theordore Riebe

Michael Theodore Riebe, 69 and originally from Ohio, passed away earlier this week in Jackson county. Mikey, as he was affectionately known, was the baby of 4 children to Bill & Doris Marie (Wilcox) Riebe. He grew up in the Toledo area, loved to play outdoors with his friends & siblings, and came to enjoy music and dancing as he grew older. Mikey was a man of many talents in his life. He enjoyed cooking and attended culinary school after high school, and also learned the art of barbering and styling hair. Even though he had no formal training, Mikey was the preferred stylist for a good many clientele through the years. While he was good at cooking and cutting, he was at his best as a mixologist. Mikey was happiest when helping and serving others. He was very close with his siblings, but closest to Theresa, who remembers him as a very helpful, loving and compassionate brother. An outgoing, friendly person, Mikey will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him. The family has set a Celebration of Life gathering for Mikey for Sunday, July 21, 2019, 2:00 PM at his sister's home, located at 2700 Pelham Road #315 in Toledo, OH. Friends and family are encouraged to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help support the family and cover final expenses.
