Michael Lucas Fairley, 36, of Wiggins, MS., left our world unexpectedly, on August 23, 2025, in Brooklyn, MS. Michael or Luke, as he was affectionately known to everyone he knew and loved, was born on February 13, 1989, in Hattiesburg, MS to his parents Michael Gavin and Connie (Courtney) Fairley. Luke loved the outdoors, and though most of his family were hunters, Luke loved to fish. He was a gentle giant with a kind heart, always willing to help in any way that he could. Luke was a proud dad who loved his children, always doing his best to make sure they were taken care of. Despite the hard times in life, Luke loved the Lord and was proudly baptized just recently at Venture Church in Wiggins, where he attended with his mom. Luke worked as a gas technician for TL Wallace out of Columbia, MS. Luke loved his family, and he will be immensely missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by, his maternal and paternal grandparents, Gilbert and Carol Sue Fairley of Wiggins, and Bill and Gussie Courtney of Brooklyn; one Uncle, Albert Courtney of Brooklyn; one cousin, B.J. Courtney of Brooklyn; and one sister, Lindsay Jo Hendricks of Purvis.
