Michael Eugene Armstrong, 38, passed away on February 21, 2025 at his home in Pass Christian. He was born on July 27, 1986 in Gulfport, the oldest of two children to Richard Wayne and Lori Anita (Wuesthoff) Armstrong. Michael, or Mike as most knew him, grew up in Pass Christian where he loved to be on the water fishing. He enjoyed drawing and listening to music of most all genres. Mike played basketball and baseball, and attended Pass Christian schools. He went to work with his father in the hot tub business and worked for several years. When he wasn't doing that, Mike enjoyed installing car audio systems. He is remembered as a loving son who enjoyed driving his mom crazy. A jokester from the word go, Mike could always be counted on for something off the wall. He loved his three children and would do anything for them. Mike also enjoyed gaming, playing with his kids, and teaching them how to fish...or trying to anyway. He was definitely a family guy, and loved them all deeply. Mike enjoyed cooking, doing so often and could make a mean "cowboy burger", that they all loved. Mike had a special bond with his sister, even though he enjoyed wrestling with her just because he could. An avid Saints fan, Mike also enjoyed tattoos and added a Fleur de Lis as his first, among others he got later in life. For all that he was, Mike will be forever loved and missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded by his paternal grandparents, George and Bobbie Armstrong, and maternal grandmother Allie Wuesthoff, and his uncle Michael Wuesthoff. Left to cherish the many fond memories are: his three children, daughters Allie Armstrong of Diamondhead and Sophia Armstrong, and his son, Jaxon Armstrong; his loving mother, Lori Armstrong of Pass Christian, his father Richard Armstrong of Long Beach; his only sister, Jessica (Jon) Cuevas, also of Diamondhead, and his brother Aric (Dianna) Armstrong of AL; maternal grandfather Max Wuesthoff, his uncle Steve Armstrong, and step-father John Hardy, along with numerous extended family and friends through the years. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, Feb. 25th in the Live Oak Cemetery in Pass Christian at 11:00 AM, where Mike will be laid to rest beside his uncle. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Armstrong family in their time of need and asks that you remember them in your thoughts and prayers through the days ahead.
