Merrill Howard Switzer, IV

Merrill Howard Switzer IV passed away surrounded by the love of his family. He was a devoted son, a loyal brother, a proud uncle, and a treasured friend to many.

Merrill was the beloved son of Merrill Switzer and Debra Switzer he preseeds in death his mother Debra Switzer and brother Steven Switzer he was a cherished brother to Kristina Thomley and Edward Switzer. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Jessica Switzer and Shannon, who held a special place in his life. Merrill adored his nieces and nephews, each of whom brought him tremendous joy. Being “Uncle Merrill” was one of the roles he valued most, and he loved them deeply.

Merrill was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. He took great pride in his years with his Walmart work family, where he formed meaningful friendships and was respected for his reliability, commitment, and genuine kindness. His coworkers were a second family to him, and he valued those connections immensely. Merrill’s life was defined by quiet loyalty, steady love, and a deep devotion to the people he cared about. He will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his gentle heart, and the many lives he touched through both family and friendship. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him.
