Melva "Deanie" Dean Necaise, full of love and selflessness, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2024, at her home in Kiln, MS, surrounded by the family she adored. Born on February 16, 1949, in Bay St. Louis, MS, Deanie's life was a testament to the power of caring and generosity. Deanie's journey began as the heart of her cherished family. She shared a beautiful and enduring love with her devoted husband, Tony Necaise, a bond that was the cornerstone of her life. Together, they created a legacy of love, raising their children Rechel Lasala (Gabriel), Dean Cuevas (Rebecca), Toni Ladner (Aaron), and her bonus children, Kurt Necaise (Kristie) and Suzette Necaise (Mike). The joy of her life was further multiplied by her grandchildren Brendon Mistrot, Krysten Harris, Adriana Cuevas, Addison Cuevas, Braedon Accardo, Weston Pickering, Brooke Necaise, Briana Palmer, Felicia Ladner, Sierra Head, and the many great-grandchildren that filled her heart with laughter and purpose. Deanie's professional life was marked by a remarkable dedication to others. After obtaining her license as a practical nurse from PRCC, she committed over three decades to Cardiovascular Associates, where her skill and compassion touched the lives of countless patients. Her colleagues knew her as a woman whose generosity of spirit made her a joy to work alongside. Beyond her professional achievements, Deanie's passions painted the picture of a life richly lived. She found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life—dancing with her husband, feeling the breeze on boat rides along the Jourdan River, and embracing the great outdoors during family camping trips. She also enjoyed jeeping the Coast with her jeep and Jeep friends. An artist at heart, her crafting sessions were a wellspring of creativity, and her legendary fried chicken Sundays became a treasured family tradition that symbolized her warmth and hospitality. Those who knew Deanie will remember her as a loving soul, whose selfless and generous nature knew no bounds. She was a woman who lived by the principle, "The only thing you take with you when you're gone is what you leave behind," a sentiment famously expressed by John Allston. Deanie's legacy is indeed the love, kindness, and memories she left in the hearts of all who knew her. As we bid farewell to Deanie, we carry forward the light of her spirit in the stories we share, the laughter we remember, and the unwavering love that she instilled in her family. Her life was a beautiful reflection of the values she held dear, and her memory will continue to inspire and guide us. Melva "Deanie" Dean Necaise lived a life that was a gift to all, and her memory will be cherished forever. Though she has departed from this earthly realm, the impact of her love and devotion will resonate for generations to come. We take comfort in knowing that her legacy of love will always remain with us. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Necaise family and ask you to remember them in your thoughts and prayers in the days ahead.
