Melissa “Missy” Ainsworth, 55, passed away surrounded by the love of her family and all who knew her. Missy was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, and a friend to everyone she met. She had a heart full of kindness and never hesitated to help anyone in need, whether it was with a warm meal, a kind word, or simply a listening ear.

Missy loved fishing, cooking for those she cared about, and spending time with her family. She was known throughout her neighborhood as a second mother to many children, always welcoming others with warmth, laughter, and kindness. Her sweet spirit, sense of humor, and genuine love for people made her unforgettable to all who had the blessing of knowing her.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Mansfield; her mother, Betty Page; her brother, Butch Burdine; and her nephew, Scott Hartup.

Missy is survived by her loving husband, William Robert Ainsworth; her children, Dianna Mansfield and Lakota Ainsworth; her beloved grandson, Able Mansfield; her sisters, Peggy, Nita, Marie, Becky, and Robin; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends who loved her dearly.

Though her passing leaves a tremendous void, the love, kindness, and compassion Missy shared with others will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
