Master Colton Jacob Singley, 2 years old of Purvis, received his angel wings on Tuesday, December 18th. Colton was born April 21, 2016 in Hattiesburg, the third son of Johnathan & Bridggett (Burkhalter) Singley. He grew to love trains and tractors, as most boys in South MS do! He was also fond of Paw Patrol, and loved to sing. He enjoyed attending church at Outreach for Jesus in Sanford, and was always singing Jesus Loves Me. He was a very happy, outgoing, and loving little man, and his tragic loss leaves an empty spot in so many hearts. During his two short years, Colton touched many lives, and was loved deeply by family and friends. He was preceded by his paternal grandfather, John L. Singley. Left to cherish those precious memories are: his parents, Johnathan & Bridggett Singley; his two older brothers, Hunter & Caden; grandparents Jerry & Ronda Burkhalter, and Pam & Gary Odom; aunts & uncles: Marc & Danielle Burkhalter, Jonathon & Dustie Smith, and Brandon Kelly, along with numerous extended family, neighbors, and friends. Services have been set for Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Oak Hill Apostolic Church on 589 outside Purvis. The family will receive friends for visitation from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Burkhalter Cemetery. Trinity Funeral Services' Lumberton branch is honored to assist the Singley family in their time of need. Please keep this entire family in your thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.
