Mary Jane Schaffield

Mary Jane "M.J." Schaffield, aka Nana.  God rest her sweet soul, passed on May 29th, 2024. She lived almost 83 fantastic years.  She was a 10-year resident of Lumberton, Mississippi.  M.J. is survived by her three daughter, Sheila Pierce, Lumberton, Marilyn "Tima" Fuller, Villa Ricca, GA and Dawn Bueker, Mims, FL.  Mary also adored her grandchildren, Loreal Baxley, Kaz Humphries, Daniel Fuller, Shane Bueker and Noah Fuller.  M.J. was the proud great grandmother to six. Kaz LeReaux, Sullivan, Kash Michael, Kyeiran Layne and Raelynn Rose.

M.J. was born in Pascagoula, MS, and graduated from Our Lady of Victory. She worked a full 62 years in the food and beverage industry, as well as owning her own lounge in Baton Rouge, where she also worked for Life of Georgia Ins. Co. She lost the love of her life John David "Jack" Schaffield in 1990.  Memorial services for M.J. Will be held, Saturday July 6th, in Lumberton at Trinity Funeral Services, from 10a.m. until 1 p.m.

Mother was a lifelong charitable donator to St. Jude children's hospital.
