Ms. Mary Margrette Graybeal

Ms. Mary Margrette Graybeal, 92, died Saturday, January 26th in Wiggins. Mary was born May 7, 1926 in Sulligent, AL, one of 8 children to Lee Grady "L.G." and Katie Lucille May, Sr. She was a passionate, strong woman who never gave up her independence. Mary loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Biloxi Creek Baptist Church. She loved her children and grandchildren, and instilled those values in all of them. Her warmth, smile, and sense of humor will be greatly missed. We have the confidence knowing we will see her again. She was preceded by her parents, and her siblings, Oliver May, Bradley May, Flora McDonald, L.G. May, Jr., Tom May, Robert May, and Bonnie Channel. Left to cherish her memories are: her children: daughters Patsy Zobel of Twin Lakes, WI, Deborah Brimingham of McHenry, Sally (Wes) Stansbury of Hobart, IN, Shirley Hendon of Chicago, IL, Jeanne (George) Melcher of West Allis, WI, and her son, Dan (Brenda) Hendon of New London, MO. She leaves a legacy of fourteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grands, with numerous nieces, nephews, and countless friends and neighbors thru the years. Funeral services have been set for Wednesday, January 30th. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM, followed by a chapel service at 11:00 AM, at Trinity Funeral Services in McHenry. Interment will follow at Biloxi Creek Baptist Church where she attended. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to assist the family in their time of need.
