Mary "Louise" (Fore) Flurry, 90, of Gulfport, MS., was eternally healed on January 15, 2026, comforted at Azalea Gardens Nursing Home in Wiggins, MS. Louise, as she was lovingly known her whole life, was born June 2, 1935, the baby of seven children and only girl to her parents, Samuel and Lillie (Bond) Fore, Sr. at home in Saucier, MS. Louise spent her working life as a cook in the casinos on the Gulf Coast, until she retired. Louise always had a smile on her face and an outgoing personality that was easy to love. When she wasn't working, Louise enjoyed "being kicked back" in her chair, "looking at T.V.", playing her handheld YAHTZEE, or solving word search puzzles. She was known for the BEST egg salad you ever had! Her best little friend for many, many years was her four-legged baby, Migi. No matter what, you could always count on her telling you she loved you before she left, and you knew she meant it by the eye contact she made when she said it. Louise will be missed by all who knew and loved her, but we all rejoice knowing that her mind is healed and restored. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Denise Parker; her parents, Samuel and Lille Fore, Sr., and her six brothers, Sam, Jr., Frank, Joe, Willard, Luther "Luke", and Gallant "Tobe" Fore. Left to cherish the good times, her son, Wayne (Gracie) Flurry of McHenry; three grandchildren, Kirsten (Scotty) Scott, Allan (Summer Dunn) Flurry, and Ian (Emilee Baker) Flurry; five great-grandchildren, Nolan and Winnie Scott, AJ, Addison, and Kaysen Flurry; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends whom she loved all very much. The family would like to thank Azalea Gardens staff for taking such good care of our "Mom", "Granny", and "Aunt Sis" over the last several years. Services for Louise will be held Tuesday, January 20, 2026, beginning at 10:00 am for a Visitation and 11:00 am for a Funeral Service held at Trinity Funeral Services in McHenry. Louise will be laid to rest at McHenry Oaklawn Cemetery directly following her service. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve our own family during this time and would ask that you remember Wayne and his family over the coming days ahead.
