Mary Edna Billiot

Mary Billiot, age 75 passed away on February 05, 2024 in Hattiesburg, MS surrounded by her loving family. She was born in New Orleans on December 08, 1948 to the late Herbert and Myrine Billiot. Mary was known for her toughness, her resilience, and her knack for finding humor in life's ups and downs. She faced challenges with unwavering determination, yet her gentle spirit and  kind heart endeared her to everyone she met. A skilled artisan, Mary found joy in creating beautiful works with her hands. Whether it was through embroidery or ceramic crafts, her talent and passion shone brightly, leaving behind a legacy of creativity and beauty. Despite her preference for the comforts of home, Mary cherished moments spent with her family and friends. Her children and loved ones brought her immeasurable joy, and her faithful companion, Coco, was a constant source of love and companionship. Mary had a deep appreciation for life's simple pleasures. She delighted in the fluttering of butterflies, the timeless charm of old westerns, and the thrill of horror movies. Her playful sense of humor and love for teasing brought joy to those around her. Memories will live in the hearts of those she touched. May her laughter, strength, and love inspire us all. Mary was a wonderful mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to many. She will be missed dearly.

Mary is preceded in death by her beloved children, Allen Bullock, Melissa Bullock, and Tammy Bullock; parents, Herbert and   Myrine “Marie” Billiot, and three siblings, whose memories she held dear. She is survived by her loving son; Robert (Kim) Bullock grandchildren; Brenden, Cheyenne, Logan, and Kaleb. Mary is also survived by six siblings and numerous nieces and nephews.
