Mary Lucille (Ainsworth) Trehern

June 30, 1966 — August 3, 2021

Saucier

Mary Lucille Trehern, 55 of Saucier, passed away Tuesday morning at Singing River Hospital in Gulfport. She was the baby of four and the only girl to Michael Douglas and Helen Mae (Parker) Ainsworth, born June 30, 1966 in the old Howard Memorial Hospital in Biloxi. Mary grew up along the Gulf Coast from Biloxi to Pascagoula, with some time in Magee, MS as well. She graduated from Magee High School with the Class of 1984 and returned to the Coast shortly afterward. Mary attended MS Gulf Coast Community College's Jeff Davis Campus, where she studied business. Later, Mary studied mixology at Blue Cliff College. She was a people person who stayed busy, doing property inspection work for many years along with her father, and also worked at the President Casino for some years as well. Mary was a genuine good person, with a heart of pure gold. No matter what she was doing, from work to relaxing with friends and family, she gave it her all. And boy could she cook! Anything and everything was her favorite dishes, but her gumbo was something special and more than loved. Not only did she make sure her family was well fed, but Mary also looked out for her friends and neighbors too because that's who she was. Loving, devoted, good and kind were just a few of the words used to describe her. She was a special woman to many and, "needless to say" as Mary would put it, she will no doubt be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all whose life she touched. She was preceded by her parents, Michael and Helen Ainsworth and her brother, Victor Ainsworth. Left to cherish the memories and tastes she left them with are: her loving husband of twenty five years, Terry Sr. and their only son, Terry Jr., both of Saucier; her brothers Doug Ainsworth of St. Martin and Michael Ainsworth of Lizana; her cousin/sister Christy (Alan) Vogle of GA, and her BFF Tammy (Michael) Cook, along with many extended family, friends and neighbors through the years. Services will be Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Trinity Funeral Services in McHenry. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by a chapel service at 12:00 PM. Afterward, Mary will be laid to rest in Finley Cemetery off Hwy. 53 in Gulfport. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Trehern family in their time of need. Please keep them in your prayers over the coming days.
