Martha Mendoza Estrada

Martha Mendoza Estrada, de 59 años, partió de este mundo en paz el 11 de agosto de 2026, a las 5:20 p.m., en Saucier, Mississippi. Martha nació el 27 de abril de 1967, en San Felipe, Guanajuato, México, hija de Manuel Mendoza Martinez y Amanda Estrada Grande.

Martha fue una mujer fuerte y extraordinaria que durante toda su vida luchó por lo bueno y lo correcto. Conocer a Martha era conocer la felicidad. Tenía un espíritu hermoso y una manera especial de llevar alegría a quienes la rodeaban. Amaba profundamente, reía con libertad y entregaba todo su corazón a las personas que amaba.

La familia era el centro del mundo de Martha. Ella era el lazo que mantenía unida a su familia: la matriarca, una madre amorosa y la persona a quien todos podían acudir. Habría hecho cualquier cosa por sus hijos y por su familia, y a cambio, era amada más allá de toda medida. Su amor era incomparable, y las enseñanzas, tradiciones y recuerdos que creó continuarán a través de las generaciones.

Martha también estaba profundamente orgullosa de sus raíces mexicanas y amaba a México con todo su corazón. Aunque no pudo regresar durante su vida, siempre llevó consigo el anhelo de volver a casa. Amaba y valoraba profundamente su cultura y se esforzó por mantener vivas las tradiciones de su familia. Era muy importante para ella que esas tradiciones, historias y valores fueran transmitidos a sus hijos y nietos. De acuerdo con sus deseos, el lugar de descanso final de Martha será en México, donde siempre perteneció su corazón.

Martha encontraba felicidad en las cosas sencillas de la vida. Le encantaba escuchar música y bailar, y siempre que tenía la oportunidad, disfrutaba bailar y pasar buenos momentos con sus amigos. También amaba la belleza y el maquillaje, y disfrutaba arreglarse y verse hermosa. Martha tenía una manera especial de llevarse con confianza y alegría, y siempre disfrutaba sentirse y verse lo mejor posible.

Por encima de todo, Martha fue una madre amorosa y una abuela dedicada. Fue una mujer que entregó todo lo que tenía a las personas que amaba. Su vida estuvo llena de fortaleza, amor, familia, cultura y devoción. Fue una mujer digna de ser honrada y recordada, no solamente por todo lo que hizo, sino por el amor que entregó tan generosamente a todos los que tuvieron la dicha de conocerla. Fue una guerrera fuerte que siempre luchó por sus hijos y, a pesar de su enfermedad, nunca perdió la esperanza.

Martha fue precedida en la muerte por sus padres, Manuel Martinez y Amanda Estrada Grande; y sus hermanos, Juan Mendoza Estrada y Javier Mendoza Estrada.

Martha deja atrás una hermosa familia y un legado de amor a través de sus hijos, Veronica, Jorge, Janet, Fatima, Ivon y Paola; y sus nietos, Ricardo, Jeni, Raul, Juliana, Mateo, Dana, Jorge, Isma, Sofia, Evan, Jasiel, Vane, Joshua, Jose Manuel, Vicky, Christopher, Lucita, Kenia, Vannia, Geraldine y Melissa; y su bisnieta, Anais Rosee.

Aunque Martha ya no está aquí para mantener unida a su familia, el amor que les dio continuará haciéndolo. Su risa, su fortaleza, sus tradiciones y los innumerables recuerdos que creó vivirán para siempre en los corazones de sus hijos, nietos, familiares y amigos. Puede haber dejado este mundo, pero jamás dejará los corazones de quienes la amaron.

El último viaje de Martha la llevará de regreso a México, un lugar que amó profundamente y al que siempre deseó regresar. Allí descansará entre la tierra y la cultura que llevó en su corazón durante toda su vida.

La misa se llevará a cabo el jueves 13 de agosto de 2026 a las 2:00 p.m. en la Iglesia de Santa Ana y Nuestra Señora de Chartres.

Martha Mendoza Estrada, 59, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2026, at 5:20 p.m. in Saucier, Mississippi. Martha was born on April 27, 1967, in San Filipe, Guanajuato Mexico, to Manuel Mendoza Martinez and Amanda Estrada Grande.

Martha was a strong and remarkable woman who fought for what was good and right throughout her life. To know Martha was to know happiness. She had a beautiful spirit and a way of bringing joy to those around her. She loved deeply, laughed freely, and gave her heart completely to the people she loved.

Family was the center of Martha’s world. She was the glue that held her family together—the matriarch, the loving mother, and the person everyone could turn to. She would do anything for her children and family, and in return, she was loved beyond measure. Her love was unlike any other, and the lessons, traditions, and memories she created will continue through the generations.

Martha was also deeply proud of her Mexican heritage and loved Mexico with all her heart. Although she was unable to return there during her lifetime, she always carried a longing to visit home again. She cherished her culture and worked hard to keep the traditions of her family alive. It was important to her that those traditions, stories, and values were passed down to her children and grandchildren. In keeping with her wishes, Martha’s final resting place will be in Mexico, where her heart always belonged.

Martha found happiness in the simple things in life. She loved listening to music and dancing, and whenever she had the opportunity, she enjoyed dancing and enjoying good times with her friends. She also loved beauty and makeup, taking pride in making herself up and looking beautiful. Martha had a special way of carrying herself with confidence and joy, and she always enjoyed feeling her best.

Above all, Martha was a loving mother and a devoted grandmother. She was a woman who gave everything she had to the people she loved. Her life was one of strength, love, family, culture, and devotion. She was a woman worthy of being honored and remembered—not only for all she accomplished, but for the love she gave so freely to everyone fortunate enough to know her. She was a strong warrior who always fought for her children and despite her illness, she never gave up hope.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel Martinez and Amanda Estrada Grande; and her brothers, Juan Mendoza Estrada and Javier Mendoza Estrada.

She leaves behind a beautiful family and a legacy of love through her children, Veronica, Jorge, Janet, Fatima, Ivon, and Paola; and her grandchildren, Ricardo, Jeni, Raul, Juliana, Mateo, Dana, Jorge, Isma, Sofia, Evan, Jasiel, Vane, Joshua, Jose Manuel, Vicky, Christopher, Lucita, Kenia, Vannia, Geraldine, and Melissa; and great grandchild Anais Rosee.

Though Martha is no longer here to hold her family together, the love she gave them will continue to do so. Her laughter, her strength, her traditions, and the countless memories she created will live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. She may have left this world, but she will never leave the hearts of those who loved her.

Martha’s final journey will carry her home to Mexico, a place she loved dearly and where she always wished to return. There, she will rest among the land and culture she carried in her heart throughout her life.

Mass will be held Thursday August 13, 2026 at Saint Ann and Our Lady of Chartres at 2pm.
