Marla Marie Dreyer, 65, passed away surrounded by her loving family on June 09, 2026 in Saucier, MS. She was born on May 26, 1961 in Poplarville, MS to the late Nathan and Doris Necaise.
Marla Marie Dreyer, a loving mother, devoted matriarch, and gentle soul, passed away leaving behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family. Marla was the heart of her home—a soft-spoken and kindhearted woman who never had a harsh word to say about anyone. She welcomed all with open arms and a full table, always ready to cook, share, and nourish both body and heart. Her kitchen was a place of comfort, laughter, and love, and her cooking will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to gather around her table.
A true caregiver at heart, Marla was the one her family leaned on—the steady presence, the helping hand, the guiding light. She was humble, deeply family-oriented, and gave endlessly of herself without ever asking for anything in return. Whether she was crocheting something special with her gifted hands or simply enjoying time outdoors in her yard, Marla found joy in the simple, meaningful moments of life.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Freddy Dreyer Sr.; her son, Freddy Dreyer Jr.; her parents, Nathan and Doris Necaise; her sister, Donna Faye Walker; and her brother-in-law, Glen Davis.
Marla leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory always: her daughters, Tosh Dreyer Brooks (Robert) and Alyssa Marie Spiers (Chris); her grandchildren, Brendon Seal, Raven Fountain (Sam), Raelyn Brooks, Reagan Brooks, Tyree Richardson, Wyatt, Adaea, and Chevy; her great-grandchildren, Kambrie and Riley; her siblings, Gay Davis, Karen Dedeaux (Prentis), Venessa Ladner, and Carla Necaise; her brother-in-law, Hubert Walker; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and her close friends.
SALLY was truly everything a family could hope for in a mother—loving, selfless, and strong in the quietest, most beautiful ways. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her love will continue to live on in every life she touched. A Celebration of Sally’s life will be Friday, June 12, 2025 beginning at 11:00 am, at Trinity Funeral Services in McHenry. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Dreyer family during this time and we ask that you continue to love on this family over the difficult days ahead.
